  • Designing and building an autonomous ground robot that integrates sensors and control systems to accurately perceive surroundings, improve motor drive reliability, and implement indoor mapping and navigation with a Raspberry Pi
  • Modeling all mechanical components in Fusion 360, including motor mounts, sensor mounts, and other electronics housings
  • Manufacturing all personally designed mechanical components using 3D printing and laser cutting
  • Implementing SLAM-based control software with Python, and exploring Path Planning (A*) and Localization (Trilateration) algorithms to capture and enhance control system diagnostics for obstacle detection and navigation errors
  • Producing engineering documentation including mechanical models and drawings, wiring schematics, algorithm explanations, and cost analyses to document the build and improve reliability as I troubleshoot all electromechanical systems
